Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 3, 2026
1. Who we are
Forte Marketers is a collective of independent freelance professionals working together under one name. We are not a registered company or corporation. Each member works as an independent freelancer, and when this policy says “Forte Marketers”, “we”, “us” or “our”, it means the members of this freelance group acting together.
We provide digital marketing services, including website design and development, search engine optimization (SEO), paid advertising, marketing automation, social media management, and short-form video content production and distribution.
This policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect information when you visit our website, contact us, work with us as a client, or when our internal tools connect to third-party platforms on behalf of accounts we own or manage.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details: your name, email address, phone number and business name when you fill in a form, email us, or message us.
- Project information: briefs, goals, brand materials, content and other details you share so we can deliver a project.
- Billing details: information needed to send invoices and receive payment. We do not store full card numbers; payments are handled by the payment provider you choose.
Information we receive while working for clients
- Access to accounts you grant us for a project, such as your website, analytics, advertising or social media accounts.
- Performance data from those accounts (for example reach, clicks, conversions and audience statistics), used only to report on and improve your campaigns.
Information collected automatically
- Our website may use cookies and similar technologies, and basic analytics, to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
3. How we use information
- To deliver the services you hire us for and to communicate with you about them.
- To prepare proposals, quotes, reports and invoices.
- To publish content to platforms on behalf of accounts we own or manage, or that a client has authorized us to manage.
- To improve our services and our website.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not use client data for our own advertising.
4. Client accounts and confidentiality
When a client gives us access to their accounts, only the freelancers working on that project use that access, only for that project, and with the lowest level of access needed. Every member of our group keeps client information confidential. At the end of an engagement we stop using the access and, on request, return or delete project files and remove our access.
5. Our tools and Google / YouTube data
We use an in-house desktop tool, Forte Clips, to create short video clips and publish them to social media accounts that we own or manage. The tool runs on our own computers.
Forte Clips uses YouTube API Services. When a YouTube channel owner connects a channel to it, the tool requests permission to:
- Upload videos to that channel; and
- View the channel’s basic details (its name and ID), only so we can label which channel is connected.
The tool does not read, collect or store viewers’ personal data, comments, subscriber lists, private messages, or any other YouTube user’s information. The sign-in tokens Google issues are stored only on our own computers, are used only to publish our videos to the connected channels, and are never shared, sold, or used for advertising.
By using a YouTube channel with Forte Clips, the channel owner also agrees to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Revoking access: a channel owner can remove Forte Clips’ access at any time from their Google Account’s security settings at myaccount.google.com/connections. You can also ask us to delete the stored tokens using the contact details below.
The same principles apply when the tool publishes to Instagram (through Meta’s official API) or TikTok (through TikTok’s official Content Posting API): it only publishes content to accounts we own or manage, it stores sign-in tokens only on our computers, and it does not collect other users’ data. Those platforms’ own terms and privacy policies also apply.
6. When we share information
We only share information:
- with the members of our group working on your project;
- with service providers we rely on to run our work, such as email, file storage, website hosting and payment providers, only as needed to provide their service;
- with platforms (for example Google, YouTube, Meta or TikTok) when we publish or manage content on accounts we own or manage, or that you have authorized us to manage;
- when required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
7. How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for: for the length of a project and a reasonable period after it, or longer where the law requires us to keep records (such as invoices). Videos produced by our tools are deleted from our computers after they have been published, or when no longer needed.
8. How we protect information
We take reasonable steps to protect information, including password-protected devices and accounts, limited access on a need-to-know basis, and using official platform APIs instead of sharing passwords where possible. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell affected clients promptly if we become aware of a breach involving their data.
9. Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is wrong or out of date;
- delete your information, unless we must keep it for legal reasons;
- stop sending you marketing messages;
- remove any access you gave us to your accounts.
To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will reply within 30 days.
10. Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Working across countries
Our freelancers and the service providers we use may be located in different countries, so information may be processed outside the country where you live. We apply the protections described in this policy wherever it is processed.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the effective date at the top.
